Atrium Žižkov / Czech / 240 min

Once a year, the ART-IN-RES Symposium creates a space for meeting and addressing common themes, formulating needs and opportunities for the development of the field of creative residencies. This year, we want to open the ART-IN-RES Symposium to more professionals and the artistic community and give a space for creators to meet with the operators of residency centres in the Czech Republic. In Atrium Žižkov there will be an opportunity to establish new contacts and to discuss the direction in which residency practice is developing and what the opportunities are not only abroad.

The platform ART-IN-RES to support creative residencies has been operating for three years, has been developing positively every year, and is enjoying increasing interest and awareness. It brings together nearly 40 host organisations providing residencies not only in the performing arts, running successful international residency programmes and dedicated to arts service.
