The current dramaturgy of A studio Rubín is mainly oriented toward the creation of original production of which the authors are mostly the directors or dramaturgs themselves. Every year, the theater also initiates a workshop to support the creation of new theatrical texts which is called Author in the House. Among the present collaborators of A studio Rubín are for example, Lucie Ferenzová, Ondřej Štefaňák, Jiří Ondra, Jana Hauskrechtová or Jan Frič. The permanent co-production partner is the theater association Kolonie z. s.
A studio Rubín is located in the historic center of Prague in the basement of the house U Tří korun on Malostranské náměstí. During its fifty-five years of existence, this intimate scene space has acquired the name of an unmistakable scene in Czech theater culture.
