PerformanceBus

PerformanceBus is a magical journey prepared for the fourth time by the team of Studio ALTA. This time especially for the guests of Malá inventura Festival.
PerformanceBus brings attention to cultural institutions and activities taking place in various corners of the Czech Republic. Each expedition offers opportunities for new friendships, adventures, and unique artistic experiences in the least expected places.

With driver Marcel behind the wheel, we are going to the Jičín region this time. We will visit the Balbineum and SOL / Space for art and relaxation at the Jesuit college, TESCO hypermarket, and Valdštejnská loggia where Landscape in a Backpack will be performed. On the bus we will watch video art on low-resolution screens, and part of the programme will be revealed as a surprise during the trip.

In addition to the tour program itself, PerformanceBus is an opportunity to meet festival guests and local artists.

A musical-object storytelling from a landscape inhabited by tales. From an island where the sheep change colour to blue and pink and where the rain rains from the bottom up. Hitchhiking, couchsurfing, surveying, busking, wandering. And a hell of a lot of rain.

Take His/Her/Its Breath Away!

An exchange market for projects and networking meetings for artists and cultural promoters from the Czech Republic and abroad. It is an opportunity to introduce yourself, your project, group, organisation, or your venue. The event has been designed as a so called speed dating when artists or their representatives have four minutes to pitch to cultural promoters.

Participating artists will be selected based on an open call.

If there is anything good that came out of the pandemic, it is the melancholic melodies and post-punk genre medley by the Berlin Manson band. Malá inventura Festival’s popular party returns to Akropolis Palace after two years!
