A one-day symposium mapping the current situation and practical consequences related to the development of artists residencies in the Czech Republic and V4.

The Czech Republic has taken a lead in the last few years in terms of the number of artists residencies. Despite that, there was no platform connecting providers of artists residencies until recently. There is also no common statement/point of view by the providers of artists residencies and specifics of the residency practice are not implemented sufficiently into the Czech government’s grant categories.

The platform ART-IN-RES and the project CONNECTING V4 ART-IN-RES have been initiated and organized by Nová síť.
